2015 was full of wonderful innovations and excitement for the aviation industry, but it was also a year of great stride for the best airlines around the world! We’ve compiled a list of the top 5 airlines, as according to The World Airlines’ Awards and a few other similar resources.

1. Qatar Airways and Signapore Airways continue to battle for the number one spot. This year Qatar took it from them! Qatar has been name the number one Airline in the world. Qatar Airlines has also received awards for the best Business Class Seat category. With their introduction of the A380 and A350 in the QR Fleet, it’s no surprise Qatar took the number one ranking this year.
2. Signapore Airlines was ranked number two next to Qatar. Signapore has been a top airline for many years. Know for their amazing service and also for their awards in the Business Class Seating category leading Qatar Airways and Cathay Pacific.
3. Last year the number one airline came in as number three, Cathway Pacific. They achieved success by winning the best Airline Transpacific for the third time at the 2015 Skytrax World Airline Awards in Paris. Cathway Pacific has won many awards that has brought them to first place many times over.
4. The number four airline in the world is the Turkish Airlines. With a fleet of only five airplanes, the Turkish Airlines flies to more countries in the world (over 105) than any other airline! They are also a member of Star Alliance.
5. The number five airline, and the last airline we will list, is Emirates. The Emirates retained their place as the World’s Best Inflight Entertainment winning the award in 2015 at the 2015 Skytrax World Airline Awards in Paris. Emirates also won the award for the Best First Class Comfort Amenities.

2015 not only had great airline candidates but it also had an amazing selection of airlines to choose from and many that won awards for different categories. As airline innovations continue to expand we are excited to see what 2016 will have for the airline industry!
