We always get excited when we hear about aviation training programs expanding in schools or aviation training being introduced in schools. For students who show an interest in aviation it can be difficult finding schools that offer the specific programs necessary to get the desired training (not counting military training which is always a great option). So when we heard the announcement that The Institute of Technical Education (ITE) will be offering their students two new programs for students who are interested in aviation we got pretty excited!

ITE will be offering their students an opportunity for hands on learning and certifications in passenger service agents and ground operations specialists. The programs are a part of the Earn and Learn scheme which pairs ITE graduates with employers so they can be mentored and given on-the-job training while they study.

on a side note, we certainly see a large trend in schools offering these hands-on programs as more technical schools are created worldwide, and attendance in existing technical schools increase every year. Pairing students with potential employers are an excellent way to generate more job opportunities and we always advocate for that!
