Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day while traveling!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! However it’s Tuesday and in many places St. Patrick’s Day is not considered an “official” holiday which means you are still working, still traveling, and not celebrating with everyone else. Fortunately for you there is always more than one way to skin a cat and just because you don’t have the day off doesn’t mean you can’t join in the fun wherever possible to make your day feel like a celebration! And here’s how:

Tip #1: Listen to Irish music or play it out loud! You’ll never fully comprehend how much music can affect our mood until we let it. Music is the key to any good celebration and that includes St. Patrick’s Day. On they way to work, while people are boarding the plane, while on your break, wherever you can listen to a little Irish music to get the feet and mood moving!

Tip #2: Wear something green or Irish! A pin, a hat, or something around your neck that blinks! Not only will it help get you in the festive mood but undoubtedly wearing something is a great conversation starter for other travelers who are stuck working like you are.

Tip #3: If you are traveling to place apart from where you live that doesn’t mean you still can’t celebrate when you get there. In fact, it should be more reason to celebrate!
