Hollywood is famous for their movie premiers but one carrier is taking this tradition to the skies! The Emirates premiered a movie called Living in the Age of Airplanes in their A380 flight over the Pacific. Definitely a unique move by the Emirates that we could only hope others will follow. This National Geographic film is narrated by Harrison Ford and, as indicated, celebrates planes. While this film is only available at IMAX theaters, it is expected to be available at specific locations for quite a while.

If you were one of the lucky ones to experience the in-flight premier then you might have seen something like this waiting for you after being escorted to the lounge:

The airline left no detail untouched, using visual imagery to guide the passengers from the moment they arrived at the airport until they sat down in their seat on the plane. The shades were drawn and the plane took off, doing circles over the Pacific while passengers enjoyed the film. Afterwards they let everyone tour the aircraft. Talk about a unique experience!
